We are sad to inform you that our dear cousin Setu has died. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2009. We understand that it was his wish to visit Maui one last time. He passed away while he was there. His services will be held on Maui, Saturday, January 16th. Please be sure to include him in your prayers and also pray for his family as they travel to Maui to bury their brother/father/uncle. God's grace and peace be with his family. What a wonderful reunion he is experiencing now with all of those who went before him. ***************************************************************************** It is with great sadness that we inform you that our beloved cousin and uncle, Salu Su'apaia Jr., died December 24, 2009. The funeral service was held, Monday, January 11th at 10:00am. We send our love and sympathy to his wife and his son, Richard and his family. Please be sure to include them in your prayers. ***************************************************************************** From Pulusila Kapisi -- Please keep my nephew Fulu Mu'a, my eldest sister Loreta's twin son in your prayers. He was admitted to the hospital this morning (November 15th) with heart problems. He had heart surgery last year and now he is back in the hospital again. He is only 16 years old. God bless you Fulu that you may gain full health and keep you strong during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. ***************************************************************************** Just received a prayer request from Cousin Eveni Tafiti. He is undergoing extensive tests to determine whether he will have to have open heart surgery. Please remember him in your prayers and pray that he will be able to be treated with a less invasive procedure. May God's grace comfort you Eveni and know that we are thinking of you. ***************************************************************************** Please be sure to include our cousin Nell in your prayers. It was a hard trip to make... coming to the reunion from Oregon. She is doing fair but has had some difficulty standing and moving around. So remember her and her wonderful daughters and dear Uncle Sam when you give your thanks to our Heavenly Father today. *Kipeni>Vandy>Nettie Auntie Nettie... we are thinking of you <3 ***************************************************************************** Our cousin Nellie and her family are so sweet and such an important part of this family. We ask you to please pray for her husband Henry as he is trying to regain back his full health. *Tinei>Elemene>Nellie, married to Henry Henry... we are thinking of you <3 ***************************************************************************** We are so sad that our cousin, Vine, will not be able to attend the reunion. He is undergoing a surgical procedure for Colon cancer soon and will be recuperating during the reunion. The good news is that they discovered the cancer in its' early stage(s). So we are grateful for that. Please remember Vine in your prayers... and ask the Lord for his full and speedy recovery. *Tinei>Ali'itasi>Vine Vine... we are thinking of you <3 ***************************************************************************** Auntie Moki is requesting that we please include Cousin Tommy Sagapolu, Rowena's son, in our prayers. He is currently recovering from lung surgery. The surgery was successful and no cancer was found... thank the Lord. So that is good news.
