PLANNING FOR THE 2012 REUNION IS UNDERWAY

We had our first planning meeting, Sunday, February 14th.  It was wonderful to get together and share our ideas.  It was also great to feel the love and support from so many cousins/uncles/aunties.

We encourage anyone who is interested in helping with the reunion to come to the next meeting.  We will announce the date for the next meeting soon... so continue to visit our website for updates.

Fantastic news for anyone who ordered a Su'apaia Family Genealogy Book.  The books were finished and shipped.  So everyone who ordered a book should have their copy by now.  Please double check and make sure that you have received all of the pages included in the original book.  If you think you are missing any pages, please contact us on the "Contact Us" page of this site.

We would like to sincerely thank our cousin Stella and family for their hard work in "getting the job done."  Our love to all of you.

If you are still interested in getting a book for your family, we encourage you to ask someone who has one if you can borrow it to make a copy for yourself.  This book was never intended to make money.  It is a treasure to be shared.   Making your own copy is the most convenient and simplist way to accomplish that.

In the near future, we will be posting updates online so that you can download it yourself and include it in your genealogy book.  Our family is growing and changing all the time so updates are neccessary in order for us to stay current.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all those affected by the recent tsunami.  Regardless of where you live, you can help with the recovery by contacting your closest Red Cross Center, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints or Catholic Chairities.  Any of them will be able to point you in the right direction.

It's now official... our next reunion will be held in Utah.  These are the final results:

57% voted to have the reunion in 2012.
52% voted to hold the reunion in August.
50% want it held for 5 days, 31% a week.
67% voted to have it in Utah.

So Utah family, congratulations!!!  The theme for the reunion is "Su'apa'ia Family Round-Up.  Don't let there be any strays!"  The dress code will be "cowboy style."  It's going to be a lot of fun.

For those of you who just attended the reunion in California... you know just how special our family reunion is.  We expect to see your smiling faces, again.  For those who could not make it this last time, we encourage you to make the effort to be there in 2012.  It's such an incredible experience.  We promise you, you will not forget it.

In the next couple of years, you will see the reunion start to take shape.  Please be patient and remember, each location has their special qualities.  No two reunions will ever be alike.  And each reunion will have its' own personality.  So be open to new ideas and experiences.

Please be sure to check in from time to time to see what's new.  If you have any questions or suggestions, please use the "Contact Us" page on this site.  We want to hear from you.

Most recent update... we have suspended our "Shop 'til You Drop" page for now.  If you have any questions concerning merchandise that you ordered, please use the "Contact Us" page for any inquiries.  We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you.

Alofa atu... The Utah Family Reunion Planning Committee.

Our goal will continue to be...

Embracing the past... Educating the present...
Enriching the future...

We dedicate ourselves to the memory of all those who went before us.  They were humble, hard working men and women of faith who sacrificed so much to give us a better way of life.
